Now that I’m spending more time in the sun, the one thing I’ve started doing when I come in from being outdoors is put on some of my favorite beauty lotion. The hot weather is fast approaching in the southwest. We have had a respite of very nice weather lately, but the triple digits will be upon us soon. I use the Internet for many purchases including those I use for my beauty skin care. Last night, however, as I was cleaning out the refrigerator, I decided I would try some homemade beauty skin care creams that I could make myself using some overripe avocados and a bit of desert honey. I've heard that both of these are wonderful moisturizers, so I gently warmed the mashed avocado and honey, mixed them up, and applied them to my face.

Other than looking stranger than fiction, It felt pretty good although this beauty skin care treatment was kind of hard to wash off. I certainly couldn't go to sleep with this mixture on my face, and after about 30 minutes, it was time to take it off. If you look in my bathroom cabinet, you will see the usual toiletries and some bottles of nice cologne or perfume.
